Be cool. Don't be pretentious. Ride your fixed gear if that makes you happy. Like what you like, dislike what you don't, but never assume you have the answers or are an authority. Laugh sometimes. Cry sometimes. Don't think too hard, it will make you stupid. Until you have read all the books and all the opinions, you probably have a bias you don't realize you have, so keep it simple. Be good to your friends. Be good to your family. Question things that don't seem right, but don't worry if you're wrong. Be wrong sometimes too. Always create, even if you think it sucks. Finish stuff. Understand your limitations, but don't accept them. It's okay to like TV. If you want to eat meat, eat it. Complain about gas prices (go ahead...do it). Go outside. Remember that everyone else is as mixed up as you are.
